Something loud this Friday
Friday we're putting out a new single. It's called "Turn It All the Way Up," and it's one of the loudest things we've done.
I wrote it for the exact moment a long week lets go of you. You know the one. The phone is buzzing and you let it, the boss has said his last thing, and you walk into a room where the band is already loud. For about four minutes nothing else needs fixing.
That's the whole song. There's no clever twist and I didn't want one. It's a Friday-night song, and it opens the record we're making for spring 2027, so it seemed right to lead with it.
It's fast on purpose and it's built to be sung back. If a room full of people sing half the words wrong and love it anyway, it's doing its job.
It goes up this Friday, October 30, on all the usual places. I'll post the link here the minute it's live. If you hear it and it makes your week a little lighter, tell somebody. That's how a band with no listeners yet gets its first ones.
